PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shelf receiving metal fittings improving an aesthetic appearance by dispensing with a hinge shaft and stay fittings and easily folding a shelf board by interlockingly moving left/right shelf supporting metal fittings. SOLUTION: The self supporting metal fittings include a prismatic vertical fitting 1 to be fixed to a wall side and a prismatic lateral fitting 2 to be fixed to a shelf board side; the upper part of the vertical fitting 1 is formed with a window part 3 for inserting a base part of the lateral fitting 2, and an upper wall part 4 supporting the base part of the lateral fitting 2 inserted using the lower part of the window part 3 as a fulcrum and preventing its pull-out by being locked with the base part; the base part of the lateral fitting 2 is provided with a hook-shaped locking piece 5 externally fitted to the lower part of the window part 3 with the lateral fitting 2 pulled out by an amount required and downward swingably supporting the lateral fitting 2; and a tongue piece 6 preventing the upward pull-out of the externally fitted locking piece 5 is projectingly provided from the vertical fitting 1.
