The main shaft (1) is held axially in position by two thrust washers (3, 4) accommodated permanently in complementary grooves at the shaft (1). A concentrically positioned ring disk (5) with good anti-frictional properties is inserted into a recess (7) at one of the washers (4) holding a cup spring (6) between its outer surface and the inner surface of the recess (7). The particular washer (4) is wider than the second washer (3) resulting in an increased pressure acting on the shaft (1).
