Mobile report capture

A system for generating and managing verifiable property reports is disclosed. Each report includes both text and image data. The system includes one or more remote electronic devices. Each device includes an image capture function, and is adapted to generate a property report at a required location. The system also includes at least one server for communicating with each device to receive and store property reports in a database. Each device is operable to capture information indicating the date and time of creation of both the text and the image data when generating a property report, such that the property reports stored in the database can be verified by relating the information and the data to each other.
