<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance long term durability of a bearing while simplifying the wiring of a rotation phase detector of the motor rotor and optimizing the coil profile of the stator. <P>SOLUTION: In the magnetic bearing arrangement integrated with a motor, an electromagnet 17 is fixed to a spindle housing 14 such that the electromagnet 17 opposes ferromagnetic thrust plates 13a and 13b provided on a spindle 13 without touching them. A motor rotor 23a is provided on the spindle 13 in common with the thrust plates 13a and 13b, and a motor stator 23b is arranged oppositely to the motor rotor 23a thus rotating the spindle 13. One or two rotation phase detectors of the motor rotor are provided, and a unit for operating a coil current application timing at which the stator coil generates a rotating field by measuring the switching interval of the stator coil is also provided. A power circuit applies a current to the stator coils 23ba according to a coil current application timing outputted from the operation unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
