PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for the preliminary discharge at the time of the restoration processing of an inkjet recording head. SOLUTION: Two discharge nozzle trains 112a are arranged across two long arms which form the rectangular openings of a supply port 113. Similarly for the short arm side of the supply port 113, the discharge train 112b is arranged across the supply port 113. Two or more other ink channels to which an ink is supplied from the short arm of the rectangular openings of the supply port 113 through a relay area 114 are established in the end side of two discharge nozzle trains 112a, and the ink discharging is made possible with the discharge nozzle train 112b.
