PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately couple a multiple stage gear having a metal pinion and a synthetic resin gear concentrically coupled, and provide a multiple stage gear materializing rotation detent of both gears with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A projection part 5c is formed on a coupling part 5 provided on the pinion 2. A hollow part 4a in which the projection part 5c can be fit is formed in an inner circumference hole 4 of the gear 3. An outer circumference 5a of the coupling part 5 provided on the pinion 2 is fitted in the inner circumference hole 4 of the gear 3 with a bottom part 5b thereof locked under a condition where the projection part 5c is aligned with the hollow part 4a. A projection part 9 bent by heating and melting locks an upper end of the pinion, and is stored in a circumference cutout part 7 and a groove part 8a without making molten resin project out of an end surface of the gear 3.
