ORGANIC-INORGANIC HYBRID POLYMER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic-inorganic hybrid polymer in which curing reaction can be smoothly performed and the remaining amount of un-reacted or low molecular weight organosiloxane is small. SOLUTION: The organic-inorganic hybrid polymer comprises a condensation reaction product of a modified polydimethylsiloxane having an alkoxysilane part having an alkoxy group on one side or both sides of a main chain and a metal alkoxide and/or a metalloid alkoxide. Alternatively, the organic-inorganic hybrid polymer is prepared by introducing the above modified polydimethylsiloxane into a condensation reaction product of a polydimethylsiloxane and a metal alkoxide and/or a metalloid alkoxide. The organic-inorganic hybrid polymer has an improved curing reactivity because the above modified polydimethylsiloxane has high functional group concentration. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
