A system and a method for providing contents with RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) are provided to download contents viewed in the offline network to a mobile terminal of a customer instantly by attaching an RFID tag to the contents distributed in the offline network and recognizing the RFID tag attached to the contents. A URL(Uniform Resource Locator) obtainer(410) obtains a URL storing detail information of an RFID tag by connecting to an ODS(Object Directory Server) when ID information of the RFID tag is received from a mobile terminal. A detail tag information obtainer(420) obtains detail contents information corresponding to the RFID tag by connecting to an OIS(Object Information Server) according to the obtained URL. A menu provider(430) transmits a menu having the detail contents information to the mobile terminal. A download position checker(440) receives a contents download position, which is at least one of the mobile terminal, or a web or mobile hard disk, from the mobile terminal. A payment processor(435) processes payment and a contents transmitter(450) downloads the contents to the contents download position. A message transmitter(460) transmits a transmission result to the mobile terminal after transmitting the contents to the selected download position.
