The system has an interface (I1) for receiving characteristic data (DR) of reference architecture, another interface (I2) for receiving characteristic data (DV1-DV6) of respective architecture variants, and third interface (I3) for receiving evaluation criteria and associated measured variables (C1-C5). Evaluation unit (EU) determines measured values from the characteristic data of the variants and that of the reference architecture based on the criteria and the variables. The unit (EU) outputs an evaluation report (ER) with the values to a display unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for automatically evaluating electric/electronic-architecture.
