<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing adjusting device for increasing a working fluid flow rate supplied to an ignition timing delay chamber or an ignition timing advance chamber arranged in a partial fluid passage and connected with a phase check valve, more than a working fluid flow rate supplied to an ignition timing delay chamber or an ignition timing advance chamber connected to the other fluid passage, in at least one phase side fluid passage provided with the phase check valve among an ignition timing delay passage and an ignition timing advance passage. <P>SOLUTION: The ignition timing delay passage 212 supplying a hydraulic fluid to the ignition timing delay chamber 51 is an exclusive passage for connecting an ignition timing delay passage 210 to the ignition timing delay chamber 51. The ignition timing delay passages 213 and 214 supplying the hydraulic fluid to ignition timing delay chambers 52 and 53 are a branch passage branching off from an ignition timing delay passage 211 being a supply passage. With this constitution, since the working fluid flow rate per unit time supplied to the ignition timing delay chamber 51 from the ignition timing delay passage 212 is increased more than a working fluid flow rate per short time respectively supplied to the ignition timing delay chambers 52 and 53 from the ignition timing delay passages 213 and 2314, the ignition timing delay chamber 51 is filled with the hydraulic fluid earlier than the ignition timing delay chambers 52 and 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
