<p>A plasma display apparatus and a television set including the same are disclosed. The plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel, a filter and a driver. The filter is positioned in front of the plasma display panel, and includes a mesh type electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding layer. A near infrared ray shielding layer is omitted from the filter. The driver drives the plasma display panel using a control signal having a wavelength of 1cm to 1m received from the outside.</p> |
