The vehicle frame e.g. loading frame (17), has two frame parts (10, 11), which are longitudinally movable relative to each other. A telescope device (12) is connected with the frame parts, and a control drive is provided for producing the relative motion of the frame parts. The telescope device forms a housing (14), in which the control drive and the electrical supply for back lighting devices, are arranged. The telescope device has a guiding unit, which is connected with one of the frame parts, and an adjusting unit is connected with the other frame part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a vehicle frame.
