<p>It is intended to provide a polymer, which makes a medical device that is to be used in diagnosis and therapy with the use of magnetic resonance imaging highly visible in a moist state under the magnetic resonance imaging and exhibits surface lubricity at the same time, and a medical device coated therewith. By coating a medical device with a polymer which contains a substance capable of shortening the relaxation time of a nuclear species detectable by magnetic resonance and a copolymer comprising a part having a reactive group and another part exhibiting surface lubricity, it is possible to obtain a high resistance to peeling, a high lubricity, a high visibility under the magnetic resonance, easy handling properties in coating and a high safety.</p> |
