<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of precisely estimating a sleeping stage. <P>SOLUTION: An analyzing unit 28 has an input interface 26 for acquiring an exhalation signal containing a plurality of respiration cycles, a first analyzing function 21 for separating a first times t1 from the maximum to the minimum and second times t2 from the maximum to the minimum contained in a plurality of the respiration cycles and recording the average value of them on a memory 25 in a sampling time unit, a second analyzing function 22 for identifying whether either one of the first and second times t1 and t2 is an exhalation time in the sampling time unit and the function 24 of outputting either one of the average value t1a of the first times t1 and the average value t2a of the second times as the average value tea of the respiration time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
