The unit (1a) has an insertion part (10) with a longitudinally extending section having a u-shaped cross section for insertion to an area of a front side (15) of flat bodies e.g. flange section (5b) or shelf board (4c), to be connected. The part is formed to have a rod shaped, bracket-shaped, t-shaped or star-shaped base form. Shanks or beams are provided in the part, where the shanks or beams have a U-shaped cross section and lie in a common base level. A locking screw (17) has a head with a diameter larger than that of a recess (18) in the part.
