<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mobile telephone with a camera, which is capable of being alternatively set to either a standard photographing mode for photographing an object located at a comparatively long distance or a close-up photographing mode for photographing an object located at a comparatively short distance, to be improved in operability. <P>SOLUTION: A photographing set up in a camera 27 is detected by a photographing mode detecting unit 31, and [Standard mode] is displayed on a liquid crystal display 24 when the camera is set in the standard photographing mode. Because [Close-up mode] is displayed when a close-up photographing mode is selected, a user can confirm the photographing mode when the camera 27 is activated, so that a photographing mode can be prevented from being incorrectly selected, and faults, such as an unintentional movement of a camera etc, in user-friendliness can be avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
