PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter apparatus which enhances more accurate cohesiveness with an inner frame and attachment working efficiency and which prevents deformation and cracks. SOLUTION: The filter apparatus is provided with a cylindrical or conic inner frame 1 and an outer frame which are concentrically arranged, an inner filter medium 1B and an outer filter medium which can be attached to these inner frame and the outer frame, and a spiral partition installed between the inner filter medium and the outer frame. The inner filter medium and/or the outer filter medium is rotated around the axial center without rotating the spiral partition. The liquid to be treated is incorporated into the filtration space to filtrate through the inner filter medium and the outer filter medium. A groove part 1C to fix the inner filter medium is formed in the inner frame. The inner filter medium has cylindrical or conic shape with somewhat smaller inner diameter than the inner frame. When the inner filter medium is attached, the inner filter medium is pinched by the groove part and a pressing member 54 and the inner filter medium is attached to the inner frame by fixing the pressing member and the groove part.
