A navigation device for collecting road condition data and a system of providing road condition data using the same are provided to effectively service navigation information by obtaining images related to road conditions using a camera mounted in a front of a vehicle. A navigation device for collecting road condition data includes a current position obtaining unit(110), an image photographing unit(130), a data obtaining controller(120), and a communication interface unit(140). The current position obtaining unit obtains the current position of a vehicle mounted the navigation device. The image photographing unit, which is installed at a front of the vehicle, obtains image data on the road conditions. The data obtaining controller controls the image photographing unit to obtain the image data when the current position is a determined position. The communication interface unit transmits the image data corresponding to the determined position to a road condition providing server under control of the data obtaining controller.
