A MIXER APPARATUS

A mixer (10) is disclosed for mixing livestock feed (12). The appa- ratus (10) includes a container (14) for re- ceiving the feed (12). The container (14) includes a housing (16) and a wall (18) ex- tending away from the housing. The wall (18) defines an opening (20) and an enclo- sure (22). An auger (24) is disposed in the enclosure (22). The auger (24) is rotated by a final driven wheel (28) which is dis- posed within the housing (16). The final driven wheel (28) and the auger (24) are together as a unit removable and replace- able relative to the housing (18) and en- closure (22) respectively. When the final driven wheel (28) and the auger (24) are together as the unit removed, direct access to the final driven wheel (28) is permitted.
