A folding type cable protection and guide device is provided to achieve smooth linear movement and flexion movement by sufficiently securing shape stability of a cable receiving space in case of linear movement and the flexion movement. A cable is received in a folding rectangular cross section shaped cable receiving space through a pair of left and right folding units(110) extending in a longitudinal direction of an extrusion-molded synthetic resin tape(100) along a longitudinal direction of the tape and repeatedly performs linear movement and flexion movement. The synthetic resin tape includes an outer circumferential wall forming unit(120), a pair of left and right side wall forming units(130), and a pair of left and right inner circumferential wall forming units(140).
