<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a ball bearing by enhancing strength of a synthetic resin-made cage. <P>SOLUTION: This ball bearing is provided with the synthetic resin-made cage 4 in which hemispherical pockets 7 for storing balls 3 are formed on opposing faces of two synthetic resin annular bodies 6, 6 axially opposing to each other, leaving a gap in the circumferential direction and bonding parts 8 formed between adjacent pockets 7, 7 of the annular body 6 are bonded to bonding parts 8 formed between adjacent pockets 7, 7 of the other annular body 6. The balls 3 incorporated between an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2 are held by the synthetic resin-made cage 4. Walls 14 leading from one of the adjacent pockets 7 to the other pocket 7 are formed in the sides of the bonding parts 8 opposite to the mating surfaces 11 with the bonding parts 8 of the other annular body 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
