THIN FILM TRANSISTOR SUBSTRATE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL HAVING THE SAME

A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array panel, a method for manufacturing the same, and a liquid crystal panel having the same are provided to compensate black luminance, a relative weak point in normally black mode, and secure a wider viewing angle as compared to normally white mode by giving irregularity to a COA(Color Filter On Array) structure and forming a multiple cell gap in a TN(Twisted Nematic)-mode liquid crystal cell. A TFT array panel(100) comprises a substrate(101), gate lines, a gate insulation film(130), data lines, TFTs, color filters and pixel electrodes(190). The gate lines are extended and formed on the substrate. The gate insulation film is formed on the gate lines. The data lines, crossing the gate lines, are formed on the gate insulation film. The TFTs are formed at the crossing areas between the gate lines and the data lines. The color filters are formed on the gate insulation film. The pixel electrodes respectively, formed on the color filters, are connected to the TFTs. The color filters comprise red color filters, green color filters, and blue color filters. The color filters are different in thickness.
