摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent display tube driving circuit in which the flicker of display can be prevented by an extremely simple configuration. SOLUTION: A DC filament voltage Vt is applied to a filament 16 of a fluorescent display tube 12 in such a manner that the polarities at both ends of the filament 16 are alternately changed over. In addition, the filament voltage Vt is based on the grounding potential common to a segment voltage Vs and a grid voltage Vs. Further, both ends of the filament 16 are connected without fail to the grounding potential when the polarities at both ends of the filament 16 change over. Namely, the electrical floating of the filament 16 including the moment of the changeover of the polarities at both ends of the filament 16 does not occur. Consequently, the potential differences between the filament 16 and a segment 14, and a grid 18 are stabilized and eventually the display of the segment 14 is stabilized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
