ACCESS RELAY APPARATUS, ACCESS RELAY SYSTEM AND ACCESS RELAYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access relay apparatus or the like which eliminates the need of reauthentication even if communication paths are switched during using one and the same terminal when using a service needing authentication and can adopt an authentication method with high security strength using an electronic certificate even when a cellular phone or the like is used as a terminal. SOLUTION: The access relay apparatus is provided between a portable terminal and a service providing device for providing a service such as Internet banking, and the access relay apparatus is configured so as to take over a session even when a communication path from the portable terminal is switched to thereby be able to continuously use a service without requiring reauthentication. Further, the access relay apparatus is configured so as to store the electronic certificate of each user to thereby be able to adopt authentication using the electronic certificate even in access from the portable terminal.
