Preparation of a composition for topical application, comprises percolation of fluid under pressure through vegetable substances in solid or pasty form, where at least one vegetable substance contains antibacterial agents. Independent claims are included for: (1) the composition susceptible to be obtained by the process; (2) treating keratinous matters, comprising preparing a cosmetic composition by the given process and applying the composition on the keratinous matter; and (3) a kit to carry out the process comprising receptacles adapted to the percolation under pressure by fluid, where the receptacles bounding a housing containing herbal substances containing antibacterial agents and a dry support.
