PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree support which fixes the root pot of a planting tree at an initial stage, releases tightening force when the tree is supports itself, controls a decomposition rate and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: The support 1 is obtained by fitting a clamping tool 3 to one end of a belt 2 useful for fixation of the root pot 13 on the planting tree 14. One end of the belt 2 folded back through the fixing pin of the clamping tool 3 is fixed on the belt 2 with a biodegradable synthetic resin yarn and/or a biodegradable synthetic resin adhesive.
