PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid fuel injection valve in which a set load of a valve spring can be adjusted by facilitating adjustment of an axial position of a front end part of a retainer supporting a fixed end of the valve spring without generating any chips and uselessly deforming each part. SOLUTION: In the solenoid fuel injection valve, the valve spring 22 is provided in a contracted manner between a movable core 12 and the pipe-shaped retainer 23 disposed in a vertical hole 21 of the movable core 12 , and a fuel inlet cylinder 26 communicated to the vertical hole 21 is arranged adjacently to a fixed core 5. An annular step part 37 is formed to radially extend from a rear end of the vertical hole 21 in the fixed core 5, the retainer 23 inserted into the vertical hole 21 is integrally provided to an inner peripheral end part 40a of an annular end wall part 40 with its outer peripheral side being fixed by the annular step part 37, and the inner peripheral end part 40a of the annular end wall part 40 is employed as an adjusting deformation part 40a for adjusting the axial position of the retainer 23 to adjust the set load of the valve spring 22 with its plastic deformation in an axial direction.
