PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method and a body wrapping/packaging bag which has no possibility for a packaging material to be shifted on a product. SOLUTION: This packaging method comprises: a paste applying step 1 of applying a paste applying area 42 provided on one end 41 of a belt-like packaging material 4; and a wrapping step 2 of placing the center of the material 4 on the outer peripheral face of a product 3, folding the other end 43 of the material 4 where the paste is not applied from one side along the outer peripheral face of the product 3, folding the one end 41 of the material 4 where the paste is applied from the other side along the outer peripheral face of the product 3 and superposing the one end 41 on the other end 43. The paste applying area 42 comprises a packaging material adhering area 42a to be superposed on the other end 43 of the material 4 to be adhered to the other end 43 and a product adhering area 42b adhered to the outer peripheral face of the product 3 without being superimposed on the other end part 43.
