PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately estimate the movement parameter of a moving body, and to appropriately detect the position of a ball as a result. SOLUTION: A digital camera 100 comprises: an imaging part 1 used according to the kind of sports for continuously picking up images including the ball moving at a high speed and outputting two or a plurality of image information; and a CPU 71 for calculating an evaluation value relating to the certainty of the presence of the ball at the prescribed position of the image on the basis of each image information outputted from the imaging part 1, estimating that the ball moves according to a prescribed movement parameter, integrating the plurality of evaluation values, calculating an integrated evaluation value, and estimating the moving parameter of the ball on the basis of the integrated evaluation value.
