PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch which does not require an elastic piece or an elastic member made of a metal component in manufacture of the push-button switch and can respond quickly and precisely to trial manufacture or small-volume production of electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The push-button switch is constructed of a push button 8 which is supported in free movement frontward and backward through an insertion hole provided in a front panel 2, a push switch 11 which is mounted on a substrate 10 housed in the front panel 2 corresponding to the push button 8, a holder 12 which is installed protruding from the inner wall of the front panel 2, and an elastic member 13 housed in the holder 12.
