An HUD(Head Up Display) device for a vehicle is provided to form three-dimensional image information that a driver needs variously, to secure high color reproduction characteristic and high resolution, and to display an image of full color. An HUD device for a vehicle is composed of a light source(200) for generating the light; an image source having a display panel(210) for receiving various image information that a driver needs and outputting an image signal; an optical system(230) having a filter(220) for changing the image outputted from the image source through the light, into a three-dimensional image; a mirror system outputting the three-dimensional image outputted from the optical system, toward a windshield glass; and a combiner for reflecting the three-dimensional image outputted from the mirror system, to a driver.
