<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide a musical representation applied to a section connecting two sounds, corresponding to a dynamics difference between the two sounds generated in advance and afterward. <P>SOLUTION: When overlapping two sounds generated in advance and afterward based on obtained performance information are detected, dynamics values of the detected two sounds are obtained respectively and the obtained dynamics difference is evaluated. And a playing style to be added corresponding to the evaluated dynamics difference of the two sounds is decided, and the performance information for instructing the decided playing style is generated. In this way, the playing style to be added to the two sounds is decided corresponding to the difference of the dynamics values of the overlapping two sounds generated in advance and afterward. That is a musical sound waveform is generated in consideration of the dynamics difference between the connecting advance sound and afterward sound. Consequently, it is made possible to generate the musical sound waveform in which the dynamics transition is appropriately reflected, even when such performance as the dynamics difference is changed significantly in the advance and afterward sounds of the connecting section for connecting the two sounds is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
