LUBRICANT FOR METALLIC MATERIAL WORKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-chlorine-based lubricant for metallic material working having baking-resistant property and lubricating property equivalent to or higher than those of a chlorine-based lubricant. SOLUTION: The lubricant for metallic material working is obtained by formulating a lubricant base oil with (a) a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent, (b) an organic zinc compound, (c) a calcium-based additive and (d) an ester compound. The lubricant satisfies the following four conditions: the sulfur content of the component (a) is≥5 wt.% based on total amount of the lubricant; the zinc content of the component (b) is≥0.5 wt.% based on total amount of the lubricant; the calcium content of the component (c) is≥0.5 wt.% based on total amount of the lubricant and the ester content of the component (d) is≥1.0 wt.% based on total amount of the lubricant.
