<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable memory equipped with a sound display function. <P>SOLUTION: A memory block 1 of the portable memory is provided with a block, such as an ROM 11, a hidden sector 12, and a rewritable sector 13. In the ROM 11, an automatic reproduction program 111 capable of calling other programs in the memory block is built in. The hidden sector 12 stores special data 121, such as a user's date of birth, time of day, and data on a file to be stored and can compare the data with system data of a host terminal 2. A special category of the rewritable sector 13 stores sound data 132 and, by reproducing the sound data 132 from a speaker built in the host terminal 2 or portable memory through a comparison program 131 of the rewritable sector 13, operation related to stored data, such as sound display or music reproduction, can be performed automatically in storing the data to the portable memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
