An axial fixing device for a torque converter is provided to prevent an oil pump from being broken by restricting an axial movement of the torque converter. An axial fixing device for a torque converter includes a transmission mount(41), a fixing jig(42), an adaptor(43), and a pilot(44). The torque converter includes a transmission mount is mounted on the torque converter and used in a transmission automatic test line. The fixing jig fixes the transmission mount on an engine driver coupling hole, which is formed on the torque converter, to restrict a movement of the engine. The adaptor is implemented at a center of the transmission mount. The pilot is implemented on the torque converter. The pilot is inserted into the adaptor and restricts the torque converter toward the transmission. A first groove is formed on the adaptor to couple the adaptor with the pilot. A second groove is formed and inserted into the first groove.
