A cable connecting apparatus is provided to connect lead cables and several diverging cables separately, thereby facilitating the fastening operation of each cable and preventing the generation of overload even when the electricity use is suddenly increased. An insulating body(1) includes fastening groove portions(12) and support portions(13). Fastening bolts(5) for assembling easily plural connecting terminals(4) in both sides of the center portion of the upper side and fastening the plural connecting terminals to each of lead cables(2) and diverging cables(3) in the fastening groove portion. Fixing bolts(7) for fixing each of the connecting terminals are assembled in the support portion. The fastening groove portions and the support portions are alternately formed. The connecting terminals are formed in both sides of the center portion of the insulating body in a state that the connecting terminals are separated from each other, and are spaced from each other. Insertion portions(41) are received to each of the plural fastening groove portions formed in each of both sides of the center portion. Cable connecting members(42) are protruded on each of the upper sides of the plural support portions and are fastened to the cables while covering the outer circumference of the cables.
