A cement mortar composition is provided to have an excellent heat-retaining effect, a good deodorant property, strong durability, and humidity and temperature-controlling functions, reduce heating costs, and prevent the inhabitation of insects. A cement mortar composition comprises cement 100 kg, vermiculite 10kg, jade powder 1 kg, illite 1 kg, smectite 1 kg, bentonite 1 kg, and water 15 kg. A method for preparing the cement mortar composition includes the steps of: putting the vermiculite, jade powder, illite, smectite, and bentonite into a ball mill, and grinding the materials into powder(100 mesh or smaller); and thereto adding the cement and water, and then stirring the admixture with an agitator.
