An apparatus for steam-washing a car using gas is provided to reduce water consumption and to prevent environmental contamination by washing the car with steam anytime or anywhere. An apparatus for steam-washing a car using gas includes a body, a steam generator(3), a coupler(4), and a washing unit(7). The steam generator is installed in the body and is connected to a potable gas can(2). The coupler detachably installs the potable gas can at the steam generator. The washing unit has a steam injecting nozzle to inject steam supplied from the steam generator and a washing brush. A pressure air blower(20) is installed at an inlet of a steam pipe(17). A metallic fiber mat generating a flame(12) thereon is installed in a combustion chamber(11) of the steam generator. A boiler(10) generates the steam by heating water stored in a water tank(9). A burner(13) burns gas supplied from the portable gas can of the coupler. A flame control unit controls strength of the flame. A chimney(21) supplies required air to the combustion chamber and exhausts smoke generated from the combustion chamber. |
