An installation structure of an oil pump in an automatic transmission is provided to decrease a frictional loss by increasing a lubricating amount by forming oil paths from a brake and a torque converter. A torque converter(290) delivers operational power from an engine to a main shaft(300). Plural gears are teeth-coupled with one another to form a planetary gear set(PG), which realizes plural speeds from the operational power from the main shaft. First and second brakes(B1,B2) variably stop the gears in the planetary gear set. An oil pump(200) is implemented between the second brake and the torque converter and supplies oil. A first oil path, which is connected to a path for supplying the oil to the second brake, is formed between the second brake and the oil pump. A second oil path, which is connected to a path for supplying the oil to the torque converter, is formed between the torque converter and the oil pump.
