An apparatus of informing existence of a waiting passenger in a bus platform is provided to improve convenience of the passenger by preventing a bus from passing through the platform without stopping. A human detector(120) detects whether a passenger exists in a bus platform. A manipulator(110) includes a button for selecting the bus corresponding to a bus ID. A display unit(150) is implemented to be protruded from the platform for the display unit to be displayed to a driver of the bus. A controller(190) receives a human detect signal. When a bus select signal is received from the manipulator, the controller displays whether a waiting passenger exists using the display unit. When no human detect signal is received after the bus select signal is received, the controller displays that no passenger exists on the display unit. A solar cell(130) is arranged on the bus platform, such that power is supplied to the inner components.
