OPTICAL RECEIVER, OPTICAL RECEIVING DEVICE, AND OPTICAL RECEIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical receiver capable of keeping the electric output level of a light receiving element constant even if an optical signal input to the light receiving element varies in wavelength.

SOLUTION: A look-up table 13 is a correspondence table of information on the optical output level of an optical amplifier 11 adjusted so that the electric output level of the light receiving element 12 may be constant and respective wavelengths of the optical signal. A control unit for the optical amplifier 11 performs output level control over the optical amplifier 11 so as to obtain an optical output level corresponding to wavelength information 15 indicating a wavelength of the input optical signal in the table 13, and corrects variation in quantization efficiency of the light receiving element 12 with the input wavelength to keep the electric output level of the light receiving element 12 constant.
