<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asset managing system capable of performing both of withdrawal management of an asset and disposal management of the asset, and to improve convenience of a user and convenience of a manager. <P>SOLUTION: The asset managing system comprises a managing server for managing the assets by a noncontact IC tag, and a gate device mounted on each gate and for reading tag information from the noncontact IC tag, wherein the gate device comprises a control unit for determining passage to be permitted if gate passage propriety information indicates the passage to be permitted based on the tag information read from the passing noncontact IC tag or destruction finished registration has been made already, and for inhibiting the passage if the result of the determination indicates the passage to be inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
