The cartridge has a cylindrical side wall with a hollow space, and a front wall that is provided with a sealable opening. The side and front walls are formed of fluorinated plastic material and are connected with each other such that a piston is displaceably taken up in the side wall. The piston is sealed by a sealing lip, where the side wall is connected to a multi-chamber cartridge. A thermoplastic resin is fluorinated by gas fluorination. A granulate formed from polyethylene, polypropylene, polyoxymethylene, polycarbonate, polyester, polyacrylonitrile and polyamide is utilized as the resin. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a container.
