<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of achieving the prolongation of the life of an auxiliary power source device while maintaining operability related to a fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is constituted so that a user can set the propriety of using an auxiliary power source unit and the time zone of a set object according to respective functions (operation modes) mounted in a multifunction machine. A set picture for setting content concerning the restoring operation displayed on a display part has: a function designating part 50 for designating a desired (set object) function out of a facsimile function, a printer function and a copy function; a use propriety designating part 51 for designating whether or not to use the auxiliary power source unit 55; and a time zone designating part 52 for designating the time zone in which the content designated by the use propriety designating part 51 is reflected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
