PURPOSE:To detect a spark advance width correctly irrespective of external conditions by a method wherein a magnet for pulser is provided on a rotor, and a yoke of pickup coil is formed in rectangle. CONSTITUTION:A concavity 30 partly notched concavely is provided on a rotor 11 running synchronously with an engine. In the concavity 30, a pole piece 13 is provided on the top of a magnet 12, thereby emitting a magnetic flux from one spot, a non-magnetic substance 14 is given thereabout and the magnet 12 is fixed mechanically. A pulser coil is -shaped and provided opposite to an outer periphery of the rotor 11. |
