SENSING DEVICE AND REMOTE STATUS MONITORING SYSTEM FOR SHUNT POWER CAPACITOR AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A sensing device and a remote state monitoring system for a shunt power capacitor, and a control method thereof are provided to monitor states of the individual shunt power capacitors in a shunt power capacitor bank through Internet in a remote place. A sensing device for a shunt power capacitor includes a plurality of through holes(25), sensors(21), and sensing bars(22). The plurality of through holes are formed on an outer case(24) to emit heat. The sensors are installed inside the case. The sensing bars are fixed on the sensors, elastically installed by springs(26), and have sensing pieces(23) at front ends. Each of the sensing pieces has a curved surface of a semi-arc shape. The sensing bars are installed at an angle of 90 degrees inside the outer case to detect expansion of the shunt power capacitors.
