A system and a method for checking theft of a vehicle part and notifying a vehicle owner of the theft are provided to detect the theft of expensive parts and tires promptly, and notify a vehicle owner and a related agency of the theft by connecting an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) of the expensive parts and a TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring system) to a vehicle information terminal. An ECU of expensive parts and an RF(Radio Frequency) receiver of a TPMS are connected to a vehicle information terminal with the CAN(Controller Area Network). A removal detection circuit enables an MCU(Micro Control Unit) to detect removal of the part by being waked up as interrupt signal. The MCU notifies a vehicle owner and a related agency such as the police of the theft when the removal is detected by the removal detection circuit.
