An automatic dice throwing method and an apparatus for the same are provided to save the personnel that is needed when a dice is thrown artificially, and to solve non-objective problems of dice throwing. An automatic dice throwing method includes the steps of: moving and rotating a dice receiving vessel(60) at 180 degrees; shaking a jib(90) and obtaining a dice; moving and rotating the dice receiving vessel to restore; returning the jib to its original position and inducing the throwing of the dice; and displaying the score obtained as a result of throwing the dice. A large sized driving motor or a small sized driving motor is used to induce the rotary action of the dice receiving vessel. A small size picturing device photographs the score and transmits it to a display to display the score.
