A method for synchronizing auto/video data is provided to convert a voice signal into an SPDIF(Sony/Philips Digital Interface) according to a voice data format of the signal and output the converted signal if voice data is outputted to an external audio device when recording/storing a signal inputted through a DVD(Digital Versatile Disk) or a video player in a personal video recorder and reproducing the stored signal, thereby synchronizing the voice and video signals. A method for synchronizing audio/video data comprises the following steps of: storing data inputted in a PVR(Personal Video Recorder) if a storage signal of video and voice data inputted from an external device is inputted(S100,S120); confirming whether or not an external audio device for outputting the voice data is connected if a reproduction signal of the data stored in the PVR is inputted(S130,S140); if so, detecting a voice data format of the stored data(S150); decoding the detected voice data into a digital voice signal(S160); and synchronizing the decoded voice data with the stored video data, and outputting the synchronized data to the external audio device(S170). |
