FIELD: instrument making. ^ SUBSTANCE: cutting tool contains a holder with a pressure surface, a cutting insert with a hole arranged in the holder seat, a movable clamp with a cylindrical boss located at one of its ends and set in the cutting insert hole. Pressure surface is increase, arranged in the holder slot and a cap screw. To simplify the design and to up the accuracy and reliability of the cutting insert positioning, the toolholder pressure surface is made in the form of inclined flanges, while the clamp pressure surface is made in the form of inclined slots on the said clamp other end. Note here, that the inclination angle of interacting slots and bulges relative to the holder seat base plane is selected to be equal while the angle value is selected so that to retain the cutting insert against the holder seat base surface by the clamp acting from above. There is an angular slot to interact with the cap screw. ^ EFFECT: simplification of the design, increase in accuracy and reliability of positioning the cutting tool. ^ 5 dwg |
